We stayed for two nights, 18/19Sept ..Even thought I knew I wanted to stay here, I waited too long to confirm reservations so was not able to book one of the rooms I really wanted....the Cottonwood Suite(king), Hole in the Wall(queen) or the Clear Creek Suite(king)..odd they were open for Friday night but not Thursday, usually its the other way... more

The hotel seems to be going under new ownership or renovations or something. The lobby is the nicest part of the hotel. When we showed up they had about 50 mattresses piled up in the driveway and other construction material. We had two rooms booked and one of the rooms had cockroaches in it. stayed in the "hole in the wall" room # 9 great room , clawfoot bath tub in a hidden bathroom. Loved the room and this unique hotel, didn't know what to expect but was pleasantly surprised. Floor boards in long hallway are quite creaky and guests can be noticeably loud, but luckily we were exhausted and fell quickly to sleep.... more
