I wonder why the built this hotel -- here. It is on the edge of a residential development and fronts Highway US12 - which, sadly, unceremoniously ends right there. ( I don't know the history of this road, but surely it was once a great and wonderful highway) The only restaurant nearby is a McDonald's - but there is also... more

We chose to stay here for our trip to Alpine Valley because we expected it to be roomy and clean. The room was very clean and the bed super comfortable. This was the first time we ever got to be the first in a hotel room. So clean! Great service, good breakfast. The only down side was that for a quality hotel the rooms were noisy. Someone skimped on the insulation I think. Too bad as there isn't much that can be done to improve on the noise now. You... more
