Had lunch today, and the food and service were quite good. But, because of a "chef-in-training" (the owner's words not mine), the experience was interminable. After 24 hours on the road stuck in our car or the firehouse in Hinton that allowed pet, be packed up and headed to Lewisburg. The had availability and that was all I need. This is not the best property I have ever stayed but it was a roof, heat, beds and a shower. All of which we desperately. Considering... more
We come here every year and it is so quaint and charming. The staff is friendly and they make you feel at home. The only thing I would suggest to others planning a visit in December is to make certain they do not end up at the Inn at the same time another very large group comes for a family... more
