As a frequent local diner since the initial opening, I have had the opportunity to rate the Fireside over many visits. Unfortunately, they continue to have service problems. Stayed at the Quality Inn Paradise Creek during homecoming weekend. We were glad to have the room and hotel is conveniently located. Weekend game rates are pretty high, during non-peak times I believe this is a better value. We've stayed at this Holiday Inn Express several times. It is well kept up and when we've been there it is surprisingly quiet. For WSU football games you need to call months in advance to get the football game call in, unless you're buying season tickets I think there might be some special type of deal.
