The power goes our often in Ocean Shores. One year when the power went out in the past the resort welcomed the local people to take advantage of the generator that QBRC has to keep the faility operating. I stayed at the Shilo in Ocean Shores and was appalled by the service I received from the Front Desk agent. I checked in on a Sunday evening and the front desk agent that checked me in was very rude and disrespectful!!!!!!!! She was very snotty and short when I checked in. We stayed for 1 night in December at a very reduced rate and lucked out with a sunny winter weekend. The Shilo is a bit dated but when you consider location and price, this was a great value.
