The food is really good--Crawfish Etouffee, Gumbo, Jumbalaya--all two thumbs up. The serivce can be slow and even though the restaurant has some really neat features (ceiling murals of alligator god giving life ala Sistine Chapel...etc...), the restaurant is not well maintained and is a bit on the dirty side. Los Potrillos is a hidden jewel--they have the best Mexican style seafood around and really great service. Their seafood is better than many of the high end restaurants I have been to. Service is painfully slow, arguments in the kitchen, prices are way to high, food is mediocre and portions are pathetically small. This place used to be halfway decent, but based on our experience today, it sucks. We will never go back. more
