Spent 4 nights there in mid-October. The grounds are very well kept and the front garden is very pretty.We really liked our studio and especially enjoyed the large balcony overlooking the beach out back. I like Greek food, but when you need a change this is for you. This is typical German/Swiss style cuisine, fresh, simple with a good variety of dishes. The large open courtyard is extremely pleasant and the service is friendly. We enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Grotta. We had a room with a patio that over looked the ocean. They were very helpful in suggesting sites to see and where to eat. The breakfasts were GREAT! more
