Visited the Tides Inn over July 4th weekend -- a quiet, respite away from home for a couple of nights, or so I hoped. The resort was at full capacity -- apparently -- and not equipped in any way to function at that level. Although, I really question whether or not they can function on an ordinary day. If you looking for really cute, this place is great. Other than that, there is really nothing to do in the town of Irvington, or the surrounding towns. There is no cell phone service. Lunch and dinner choices are very limited in the area also. There is a sandwich shop nearby, but it's not very good. We were unable to... more
