We had high hopes for this place, but the service was amateurish and the food was good, but not fantastic -- and very rich. My husband ordered his steak medium rare and it came medium well. I do not suggest it considering how expensive it is (unless money is no object for you). more

We have had dinner there each time during our visits to Charlottesville last year and this year. Each time, we have had wonderful food and excellent service. We plan to have dinner again on our next visit. The steaks and prime rib dinners were done to perfection and the wine list was reasonable if you know your wines. more

We should have paid more attention to the 1 review on the newer extended suite(s) on this website. We were in Room 10 and were looking forward to a kitchenette and living room area for a relaxing getaway weekend.
