Everything's relative. We'd had a repeatedly poor experience at the Inn at Essex, so headed out here. What a difference! It's a lovely restaurant, smart casual, with a very good ($35-$45) wine list. The Inn At Essex is, like most of these reviews say, genuinely a lovely place to stay. Rooms with gas fires, pleasant & helpful friendly staff, a nice little library area.
