This is the best hotel I've ever stayed at. The rooms were large. They were spotless. The bathroom was huge. The view, indescribable. We were blessed with a sunset, a full moon rise and a sunrise. The drive to and from Monument Valley is lovely. This review only refers to the tribal park. You may pay a fee to drive down a dirt road to look at rocks. My husband and I paid the $10 entrance fee, but it was really not worth it AT ALL. You could take nice photos, as well as see lovely... more

San Juan Inn is nearby Monument Valley, but is in Mexican Hat. Great location on San Juan River, just across the river from the Navaho Nation. We stayed in the apartment above the trading post.
