Although this is an old motel, I found it to be exceptionally clean and it appears to be the best place to stay in Pecos by a long shot. I found the staff at the desk and in the restaurant to be among the friendliest I have encountered. more

I've been to a lot of places, from Suwan, Korea to Tatui, Brazil. The Quality Inn in Pecos, TX holds the distinction as the worst I've ever encountered. Where to start... First floor hallways were flooded due to recurrent plumbing problems and closed off with police tape and 2 Bobcat skid-steer pieces of heavy equipment to rip up the floor.... more
