This was my first visit to Los Cucos. . It was ok, but I dont think I will be going back because my first impression sticks with me. . The red sauce for dipping chips was not real good, too thick, too many seeds and the flavor was more like a deep rich enchilada sauce than a red salsa .... more
We greatly enjoyed our stay at the Kingwood La Quinta. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean. The bed was amazing. (To be frank, I came home and found my own bed less than adequate. ) Even the breakfast was an impressive spread (for a free continental breakfast). We particularly enjoyed the Texas-shaped waffles!
