We stayed at The Old Rectory 3 yrs ago and returned at the end of March 2008 knowing that there were new owners. As frequent visitors to this hotel over a twenty year period we were so very disappointed when it closed a few years back. We were therefore delighted to learn that it had re-opened under the ownership of Anne and Eddie Eyles. This is a small privalely owned hotel run by the owners who are also the chefs. Food is excellent with a lot of the ingredients produced and farmed in Devon.
