Kennywood is a nice, smaller park that is fun for a day, but I don't recommend traveling long distances to visit or planning an entire trip around just the park itself. I hadnt been to Kennywood in probably 30 years. I decided to take my 15 year old daughter. We had an amazing time. The park was clean, friendly and the rides still fun.
