This place is just amazing. If you love historical hotels that were designed on a grand scale, here's your baby! The drive to the front door takes your breath away...the lodge is SO stately. Yet, for all the refinement, it still manages to feel comfortable, friendly and FUN! We stayed a two-night weekend...2 adults, 2 children aged 7 and 10.... more

My husband and I returned to Skytop for the July 4th weekend, and I must say, I was much more disappointed with our stay than when I reviewed the hotel in November 2008.
