my boyfriend and I had lunch here... It was a good experience overall... I have had better and much worse. The ambiance was very nice, food good, and the service attentive. For two for lunch we spent $75 which can be thought as rather pricey. more

My boyfriend and me have been planning to go here for sometime. Finally we get around to it and we are glad we did. The prices are reasonable, the food is the best I've had in philadelphia and the service was just the best period. I ordered the fillet Mignon (its three separate peices) beautifully presented along with asparagus heads... more

I found this through the bed and breakfast site. I needed a place to stay with my 3 daughters, age 10, 16 and 19 yr old. We all absolutely loved it. It was beautifully decorated, had a nice flat screen tv. 2 queen size beds, nice bathroom. The breakfast was great, the other guests were very friendly and we were... more

Although the house is nicely decorated and the room was small but quaint, that was where the charm ended. We were offered their "freshly baked goods" upon arrival, which were a plateful of stale, hard, chocolate chip cookies that looked straight out of the tin. The bed was so hard and the pillows so much like rocks, that both my... more

This is a fabulous place for a mother/daughter getaway. We stayed in room 11 which was amazing, from the private patio with a fountain to the high, beautiful beds and room size shower. The garden contains a fountain, a hammock and little coves of beauty and rest. John, the owner, has a servant's heart and attended to so many wonderful... more

My husband and I dined at Martine's for our tenth anniversary. The evening was as magical as our first date and we giggled through our meal like a couple of high school kids. Our waiter was a bubbly Italian man named Dominick, who charmed us with witty jokes and wowed us with his intimate knowledge of the food. Our table... more

Last Thursday one of my friends was possibly drugged at the bar at the Nevermore. One of the staff decided to help himself to a kiss goodnight as my friend was being loaded into the car, passed out after 4 drinks in a 4 hour period of time. The Manager found no problem with this becuase the staff member was... more

We were intrigued by Karlas Restaurant because it looked fun and festive and was just off the beaten path of Main Street in New Hope. While the atmosphere definitely lived up to our hopes, with its cool vibe in an old house setting, the service was slow and not overly attentive or friendly. While the food was good, it was... more

My wife and I traveled to New Hope, PA to attend a memorial day wedding. We checked out several bed and breakfasts in the area but this one was reasonably priced and away but not too far from the hustle and bustle of downtown New Hope. We stayed for two nights and we had trouble sleeping due to the uncomfortable... more

If you are open for a wonderfully unique retaurant experience then you need to go to Tastebuds. I'm sure those who like mass produced food are not fans of this place BUT if you are looking for exceptional food and service then just give it a try. I've been to many restaurants that try to give their spin on the... more

This was our second trip to the Inn at Bowman's Hill and it is simply the best experience imaginable. The Inn itself is set in New Hope, PA which is a funky, eclectic yet entirely comfortable place to visit. Tons of shops, restaurants and fun and the best people watching around. You'll never be lost for a conversation starter at... more

Hadn't been to New Hope in years, parked on the street & was just enjoying the scene when we saw the train go by. We thought 33.00 was abit pricey, but it would have been a none starter if we had to pony up 15.00 to park as well. No one clued us in to the AA A discount. (unlike... more

I agree with all of the positive statements in earlier reviews. The inn is a brief walk to the heart of New Hope without the parking hassles of the town. We had a spacious room with good AC, a nice patio and a nice bathroom. The common rooms downstairs are large and comfortable, with a computer, lots to read etc.... more

This restaurant had become a favorite for a number of years but two sets of price increases have made it a poor value...despite some great dishes. Their mole sauce is among the best I've had anywhere...buy it by the jar (used to be $10 but likely higher now for a pint jar). The chicken mole enchiladas are absolutely delicious! Among... more

We stayed Labor Day weekend of 2008. I love Porches, the atmosphere is wonderful, the price is average, for what you get in a tourist area, and the area is spectacular. I wanted to mention the breakfast. This is what drew my attention, 8 months after my stay. I plan to book for this Labor Day Weekend. I just read... more

This is our second stay at this Inn. It is addicting... We are already planning our next trip out. There are not enough words in the english language to express the beauty of this Inn and its staff. We felt like royalty the entire time, enveloped in the serene landscape, grounds, and of course our most comfortable and accommodating room/suite.... more

I recently went to this B&B with 5 other girlfriends. Our room was clean and pretty nice. However, there were some things that needed attention. The pillowcases had been mended many times and were quite threadbare. You couldn't turn your own air on as it was locked in a closet. You had to ask for someone to come with a... more

We chose this inn because we were in New Hope for a wedding and other guests, including the bride and groom had booked rooms there. We booked a two night stay in one of the inn's expensive suites (the Fetterman Suite) because that's all that was left. The innkeeper could not have been ruder or more hostile on the phone,... more

Last week was another fabulous experience at Tastebuds! The food was delicious, the service was great and the atmosphere was nice and relaxing. A perfect way to spend a night out with friends. Everytime I go I think it's the best experience and can't be topped but somehow every time it gets better! I can't wait to go back :-) more

We went there for a Mother's day lunch. It was NOT crowded so the delays in the kitchen were not easily explained. We waited 45 minutes for our salads to arrive and one hour and fifteen minutes for our entrees. Other diners were making similar complaints. IF, the food had been good we could have overlooked the service and the... more
