We arrived for our weekend to enjoy the Seven Valley Railway's 1940's event. As we could not book in until 3 pm we thought we could change in the hotels toilets but....no public toilets. We asked if we could have the use of a room just to change. One lady said yes and the room would be ready at noon.... more

I stayed here with my husband and daughter (aged 12) as we were going to a wedding in the area. Our room was clean and spacious. Staff were friendly. We stayed here for two nights in mid-October. The room was clean and fresh. The staff were friendly and very helpful, and our whole stay was a delight. The staff team ethic was strong, and we would recommend a stay here to any travellers. We will stay again next year en-route to Cornwall. And the best bit was, our room... more
