The staff at the inn were consistently pleasant, beginning at the check-in. The warmest welcome on the Cape! Ocean View Motel and Chalet offers a fantastic location for exploring Cape Breton. With great accommodation and spectacular views over the water from the rooms, this place offers tranquility and convenience. The hosts are fantastic too - nothing is too much trouble. They even light a little fire in a firepit in the grounds... more

I was a little apprehensive making a booking at Merry's Motel as I could not find any pictures on the web of the rooms, but booked anyway due to the overwhelming positive reviews. When I called to make the reservation, I learnt the owners were Swiss, and my experience of the Swiss told me the rooms would be spotlessly clean.... more
