Stayed at La Quinta with my family in May. We stayed for one night so we didn't get to explore the hotel properly. We have previously stayed at Days Inn and Microtel. We needed a place to stay overnight to break up an otherwise long trip from coastal NC to western WV, and Winston-Salem seemed ideal. Brookstown Inn was not only a logical choice, but turned out to be a wonderful place to stay. more

The hotel staff were extremely friendly, starting with being collected from the airport. The room was clean and comfortable with all the necessary amenities. I enjoyed the information about the Maya Angelo - a local artists, that was displayed in my room. Each room is dedicated to a different local artists.
