One has to ride a passenger ferry to the island that is owned and operated by the state. We had dinner at the Ice House 6/20/09. Everything about it was very good! We had a nice waterview, great waiter (Ken), and the food was all good, especially the sea scallop appetizer. Good recommendation on the wine also. Great evening! Will definitely go back there next visit. Bill and Dale more

The food was very good. Not used to as much salt as they cook with. The steak was done perfectly and shrimp was also very good. Our waitress Bev was outstanding! Would go back and try something baked. more
