My husband and I went over Halloween week-end. We had a room that was supposed to have a view of the sound and what we saw was trees. My family just spent Thanksgiving break there and it was wonderful! So the lobby where you get the key to your room does have to be renovated (what wouldn't be after 100 years!) but the villa we stayed in (villa #8) was of this time period, all new, clean and super spacious! I have been staying at Bluff Shoals for over 10 years, and I never tire of it. I like going during the off season best. I like grilling out and relaxing by the scenic Silver Lake shore.
