We stayed here during college visit to St. Andrew's College. The staff helped us with directions and made us feel at home. The management and staff were very eager to help , answer questions, and make sure we were okay. When there was a winter weather alert they helped us by holding our room open and letting us stay past... more

This was the perfect place for the price visiting family in the next town. It had everything we needed with a great breakfast and friendly and helpful staff, you just can't beat Southern hospitality. I have stayed in a few Jameson Inns and I would recommend them to friends. more

This was just a AMAZING stay. I have had many great Hilton stays, but this one at the little Hampton Inn just topped almost all of them. The agent, Betty, went to another hotel by this Hampton because I needed more pillows. Talk about above and beyond! That is can do attitude! The pool is set up nicely and has... more

Staying at the Pine Acres Lodge is like stepping back in time. This motel reminds me of a late 50s/early 60s motor lodge. I was at the North Carolina Motor Speedway for a driver's school and decided to stay at the Pine Acres based on the reviews on this site. I contacted the Lodge directly and had no trouble reserving... more

Booked well in advance a room in this hotel. Check-in was neutral, not very welcoming but not unfriendly either. We had a room at the back with view of the swimming pool and a large grass area. The room was good, with the good-quality Hampton bed and sheets, a work desk with chair and a sofa. All rooms in this... more

We have stayed at Pine Acres once a year for most of the last fourteen years (family reunion). This old style "park in front of your room" lodge is the best deal in town. Other family members stay in the other places there so we've seen them. Pine Acres is not as new as some of the others but has... more

Nice hotel with rooms that open to inside corridor. Friendly staff. We would stay here again. more

Spent one night at the Holiday Inn Express in Laurinburg NC recently. The hotel is currently remodeling the rooms, so there was a bit of noise in the corridors during the day, but the hotel was prefectly quiet at night. The room was large and comfortable, with a microwave, fridge, king size bed and a foldout sofa bed. The bed... more

Of all the places I stay as I travel across central North Carolina [each week for the past four years] this is my favorite place to stay. When other chains send rating requests, I tell them to send their rude or "can't do" staff members to Laurinburg to learn how to treat consumers. Robert, Chris, Betty & Lloyd are all... more

Seeking refuge from a broken AC, I came to this hotel. The pros for me were the size of the room and bathroom, the location, and the price. The most notable con was that check-in took a while, as the front desk staff seemed completely baffled. more

Our family recently spent one night at the Hampton Inn, Laurinburg. The hotel was very clean and well kept. The room had a strange scent to it, but other than that, was comfortable. The bedding was older--we were hoping for the new Hampton Inn bedding--it's overdue at this hotel. The breakfast was very nice--french toast, pancakes, sausage biscuits and gravy,... more

Very, very good value. Our room was extremely clean and quite attractive. The lobby is large with many sofas and chairs and the included breakfast quite nice. The staff was friendly and helpful. They provided us with a map of the area and suggestions on dining. more

Hotel was great; very clean, excellent price, very large continental breakfast included french toast, bagels, pastries, cereals, sausage biscuits, fruits, English muffins, juices, coffee. Breakfast area was kept well-stocked and clean throughout breakfast, and coffee was available 24 hrs. Also had in-room coffee makers. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Beds were a little firm, but surprisingly comfortable. We were... more

My friend AJ and I went here last weekend Oct 9/04, it was awesome! We plan to make each Sat the place for us to be! We enjoyed a clean hotel setting, dinner was very good, then we had fun singing Karaoke with everyone. The establishments are all together being subject hotel sits beside the Champs restaurant/pub. It is safe... more

Exactly what we need when we stay a couple of times a year. Very well managed (great service & upkeep), quiet, comfortable rooms, above average breakfast bar, central location, it is also adjacent to Champs (the best restaurant & bar in town). We stay at the Hampton because it is the best available in the Laurinburg area. more

We have stayed here every year or two since graduating from St Andrews in 1969. The Scotland Inn is still the best place to stay in Laurinburg. Clean, well maintained, central location, and the best rates in town. Champs (the on-site restaurant/lounge) has the best food and nightlife in town. Highly recommended! more

I am originally from Laurinburg, NC and everytime I go back to visit family, usually twice a year, I stay at Pine Acres Lodge. The rooms are very well kept, large and clean. The pool is great, and the hospitality is above par. I could easily stay at the more expensive hotels just down the road, but for the money... more
