Aqua Restaurant

This is a great place to try new things. The menu is always changing, and with the small plate options you can try 3 or 4 plates between 2 people. They have many things that you will not find on a normal menu using local grown and caught ingredients. We had a nice paring of cheese, an unbelieveable low country... more

We have been to the Spouter 3 times now. Every time the food is great, and the service is good. If you get to sit on the back deck the view is amazing, you will not regret it, and save room for dessert, they have some of the best in town. more

This is our second stay at the house, and Lizzet is a perfect host. When I go to a B&B I am looking for someone to treat me like family, and she does just that. She helps us with places to go, and adventures to try. If you are looking for a relaxed place to spend with your special someone,... more

The Inlet Inn was the perfect option for our night in Beaufort. The location is in the center of the town and an easy walk to all of the Beaufort shops, restaurants and historic sites. Our room, on the third floor, was very large with tall, vaulted ceilings. The window seat offered amazing views of the water and across to... more

Let me say that I am a long time restaurant person not normally inclined to complain. But, I tried to book my wedding reception at Front Street/Stillwater. What a terrible experience! Obviously the owners think so much of themselves they wanted me to commit to an almost $74 dollar a head function without any knowledge of what might be served.... more

My absolute favorite place in Beaufort, NC. I live across the bridge in Morehead City, and we routinely make the drive over to Aqua in Beaufort. This is small place set behind the main drag in Beaufort on the waterfront. Although a bit higer priced than normal, the food is always very good. They have an eclectic menu and bar... more

I reviewed this place last year and gave it five stars. Since then I have been back several times and the service was very poor each time. I am not sure what the issue is, but the owners better improve things soon. Try Aqua behind Clawsons instead. Service and food there are outstanding. more

The room was a bit small, but clean and comfortable and very well decorated. The bathroom was very quaint; old fixtures and tile, but everything worked very well. The staff was not overly friendly, but not rude either. The breakfast was very good. The location is excellent for walking around the historic district and the waterfront park. The latter has... more

Ate lunch here August 3rd, 2009. The servive is local folk, the food is typical local shrimp & burgers. The rotary eats here weekly so you can get the drift of the nostalgia & the menu. This is a good stop for clean normal menu foods. The onion basket was great but very pricey for what you get.We would go... more

Dinner for 5 on August 4th 2009. The corn fritters are fantastic, The pricing is outrageous for the srvice and the portions. I ordered the $17.95 special Seafood Linguini & side salad. The waitress stated that the dish was a mixture of scallops, shrimp, crab in a cream sauce over linguini. I was presented a bowl of seafood bisque soup... more

My sister and I found The Captain's Quarters via the internet, and made reservations the same way. When we arrived, we were met by Captain Dick and Miss Ruby. The house was beautiful, every antique in the home was actually a part of the family history, and Captain Dick and Miss Ruby made us feel as if we were the... more

My husband and I will never eat at the restaurant again. By mistake I ordered one kind of sandwich and really wanted another. I did not realize it until our food was brought. The waitress took the one I did not want back and brought what I wanted. That was totally my fault I thought I ordered one thing but... more

My family loves the picturesque seacoast community of Beaufort, NC. The town is rich in coastal history and fun activities, from the wild horses to the beautiful homes from the 1700s. This was the first time we had stayed at Beaufort Inn, but it won't be the last. The staff provided a great breakfast to start your day and snacks... more

Beaufort is full of upscale "fine dining" establishments with "unusual" menus, beautifully adorned plates with small portions and high prices. This restaurant had excellent food at not so high prices with generous portions. The range of cocktail;s was also impressive and delicious. more

This inn could not be better located to visit the charming town of Beaufort, NC. The rooms was spacious and clean, the breakfast served in our room was ample to see us through the morning and the staff were courteous and friendly. Granted the inn is not brand new, but that added to its charm. more

My wife and I stayed at the Inlet Inn for three days and had a wonferful time. The Inn is located right in the heart of Beaufort in walking distance to everything. My wife, 10 year old daughter and I had the good fortune of eating at this fine family-owned restaurant. The food was EXCELLENT and the wait-staff couldn't have been friendlier or more attentive to our needs. "Team" atmosphere was definitely present in the service. Great view of water way and reasonably priced! Any one who wouldn't enjoy this restaurant would... more
