Having stayed at Cape Lodge two years ago we returned to find it better than ever. There is now one of the most tasteful, clean swimming pools we know of....set in the beautiful surrounding of the immaculately maintained Cape Lodge gardens. The service remains the best of any where we know...friendly, professional, warm and discrete. The breakfasts continue to be... more

What a place to totally relax. The view, the solitude, the surroundings, the smells and last, but certainly not least, the villa! A perfect retreat while spending a few days in the Margaret River Area of WA. The room, I would personally classify it more as a villa, is fantastic. The décor is superb, the small living room has everything... more

Caves House Hotel is just simply lovely. Originally built in 1905 to cater for tourism to Ngiligi Cave just a short walk away, the original hotel on the site burnt down in 1936 which paved the way for the Art Deco splendour you see there now; the current hotel was built in 1938. In the past few years it has... more

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Empire Spa and Retreat for 4 days during January. The room was fantastic. It was spacious with all the facilities we could have asked for, including an outdoor shower (didn't try this as we're not fond of bugs), big spa bath and a fridge (which is useful when it's 30 degrees) or you... more

I booked 3 nights over New Years and stayed in the Verdehlo room with my girlfriend. It was a surprise for her, neither of us like hotels and I wanted to get as far away from Sydney as possible. She cried when she saw the room, when it comes to relaxing, this is the place. Massive room, bathroom and balcony... more

Cape Lodge is to Die For. We spent three nights here recently for our honeymoon and loved it. From the super service when we booked to the very end it was superb. When we booked the lady (I wish I could remember names) asked if we wanted other services, talked about room types to help us choose what room, booking... more

We booked 3 nights in the Chablis room. The room was first class even though a bit small. The massive balcony made up for the small room .We had a Spa to ourselves and loved laying in it with a glass of wine each evening before dinner. Food was first class as was the service . The spa was the best ever... more

Both my girlfriend and I absolutely loved staying at Wildwood Valley - and like a lot of other people, we felt incredibly at home straight away. The whole area is great if you want to get away from it all and enjoy peace and quiet (with plenty of nature and birdlife) and the accommodation itself is spotlessly clean, with lots... more

What a wonderful, peaceful boutique hotel. I enjoyed every moment of my stay, and would love to move in if possible! We stayed for 3 days in a Superior Spa Room (No. 18) which I would highly recommend. After reading previous reviews, it is pleasing to note that management have listened to guest feedback. Bath salts are now complimentary (how... more

This was our first stay at this property and it was excellent. The rooms were beautiful. Our room was as advertised with spa batch, outdoor shower, deck, and flatscreen television. There was coffee making supplies for plunger coffee and tea. We had a larger villa that had a separate sitting area, table, and microwave. Our daughter had a room that... more

We stayed in a 3 bedroom beach villa with fantastic views across the Indian Ocean. The accommodation felt like a house and was easily big enough for a family although we were only 3 people so we had ample room. The adjacent smiths beach was wonderful although be careful of the large waves that seem to crash extremely close to... more

It's hard to imagine a better combination of elements than you find at Cape Lodge in Yallingup, Western Australia. Majestic Tuscan style rooms set in a Cathedral of Karri trees. I crave peace and quiet, and whilst I quite like children, I don't enjoy the "Lord of the Flies" enthusiasm they can muster, on my rare and precious holidays. Peace... more

Stayed for a week in early December. This boutique apartment development is well described by their promo info so go to the Injidup website for pics etc. The units are overlooking the Indian Ocean and just near the Cape to Cape walking trail. It is a very windy spot but just perfect for doing absolutely nothing, using the day spa... more

We have just returned from a wonderful week staying at the retreat. We stayed in one of the bigger villas. It was larger than expected - like a one bedroom house with a fully equipped kitchen. Stylish furnishings and nice little touches like xmas decorations, big beach towels, and good toilettries. There was no land line phone but my mobile... more

No trip down south is complete without a lunch at Amberley Winery. Set amongst beautiful gardens overlooking the dam and the vines from the Verandah seating you must be in paradise. Amberly wines have been standout quality wines for many years and the tasting allowed us to choose my wife’s favourite Chardonnay to have with our lunch. The Summer menu... more

We recently spent three nights at Windance Cottages (#4). We paid $175 per night, with the third night free, thanks to a spring special. Our unit didn't overlook the vines, but instead an open field where we were entertained by a wide assortment of birds and the occasional fox. Our cottage was spacious, with two large bedrooms with queen sized... more

We stayed at the beach shacks at Smith Beach Resort recently with 4 adults and 2 children. There were 2 rooms in the shacks, one with a queen size bed and the other with 2 bunk beds. The resort was very quiet, peaceful (being a low season) & clean. The shack had its own private BBQ area at the side... more

We stayed here for 4 nights in October, and it was simply stunning. We stayed from Monday to Thursday night - for the first few nights we were the only guests in the resort, which in many ways was lovely but a little strange. The reception certainly made us feel welcome and helped us get settled into our room, and... more

We spent 4 nights of our 2 week holiday in the Margaret River region at the ‘plunge pool’ villa on the ‘Chandeliers on Abbey’ property. The spacious villa was beautifully decorated with quality fittings and the best spa bath we had ever seen. However, our experience was tarnished by a few issues we experienced during our stay. Firstly the villa... more

We have just returned from 7 nights at Windance Winery & Cottages in October 2008. To say that this place would be one of the best places we have stayed at would be an understatement. The cottages are very roomy, beautifully appointed, extremely peaceful and tranquil with wonderful views of the Vineyard. They are fully self-contained with full kitchen and... more
