WOW! we just loved Jongomero...The setting is absolutely fantastic. The staff is very friendly and everything was perfect. We never saw a tent like this before, wich was so big comfy and with a amazing view on the dry river, where the elephants walked by.... The food is delicious... Also our Ranger Priscus was the best. He follows the footprints... more
Stayed here for 3 nights in October 2009. The lodge had been chosen for us by our safari company (Chaka Safaris – also recommended), so we didn’t really know what to expect but it did not disappoint. We stayed for 4 nights at the Mdonya Old River Camp. Everything was great! Elephants, buffalo, giraffes, hyenas, outside our tent almost every night. Safari game drives were wonderful, we learned so much from our guide and driver. The people and food were outstanding also. Want to go back with my husband next time. Mel Z. U.S.A. more
