Our family has gone to Benucci's many times over the past decade, and loved the place. Last night was our first visit since they reopened. Very disappointing. Ordered a glass of wine; got a carafe and a small thick juice glass. Requested a wine glass. The staff at the front desk were friendly, helpful, and speedy. The rooms were clean, recently updated, and comfortable. The restaurant, despite the awkward location (in the lobby, flanked by the elevators) served a meal far better (in terms of the quality and presentation of the food) than we could ever imagine. We've had the occasion to visit Rochester 3 times in the past 3 years...and Sticky Lips continues to be our 'go to' spot...If you're not a BBQ lover, one stop at Sticky Lips gets you hooked...Our favorites are pulled pork and the ribs........oh the ribs..<sigh> they bring tears to my eyes just wishin' about them. more
