There are nicer places for the money in Lake Placid. I wouldn't stay again because of the price. I would go to a nicer motel for that money. We have stayed other places and thought we would try it. Won't stay there again. more

I made reservations at the Northwoods Inn on Main St to be within walking distance of the Olympic Arena. Location is supurb. Park car and walk so parking worked out for us. After booking I read reviews and got worried about what I'd find and was having second thoughts... It's an old Lake Placid Hotel which adds to it's charm.... more
