What distinguishes Copper Wok from its neighbors are a complimentary alcoholic drink with lunch buffet ( they have Kingfisher beer), a refreshingly light (but not under-) use of salt, and Thai-inspired dishes (like a red vegetable curry with crisp bits of bok choy). Lamb with oyster sauce packs the biggest surprise: giant black mushrooms are the stars of this dish.... more

Old motel with big, clean rooms. Large bathroom. Microwave and refrigerator. What makes it real attractive is the over 60 rate is under $100. That's tough to beat on Long Island. Two night stay. more

This hotel is indeed very old and shows it. They obviously jacked the rates up for the US Open and it was not a good deal for the quality (or lack thereof) of the property. We returned to the city and saved over $40/night for a very nice property near Times Square. Rooms were clean but the funishings were outdated.... more
