Visited FLI for my wife's Birthday. We were warmly greeted upon arrival and given a tour of the property. We were then shown to our room (Fieldstone). Fresh flowers and a Birthday card were waiting for us, along with fresh baked cookies. We enjoyed a leisurely afternoon, and found our way to the billiard room for complimentary wine and snacks.... more

This was my second stay at The Friends Lake Inn, and I found it just as charming as the first time I visited. The food is absolutely excellent, the wine list is staggering, and the rooms are sumptuous. The one downside is that the inn is NOT on the lake. To call it lake view is pushing it...a couple of... more
