We recently returned from a trip to Africa and Kings Pool was our starting point for our second safari to Africa. The service, location on the Linyanti river, food and not to mention the actual wildlife were all spectacular! We had the room at the end of the camp which was incredibly peaceful and had superb views across the river.... more

Upon arrival at Muchenje, we were stunned by the gorgeous view, high atop the landscape below. The welcome by Kathy and gracious service the entire time made the stay fantastic. I stayed at Elephant Valley Lodge for 3 days/2 nights, and found it to be mediocre in most all respects. The tent was modestly furnished, and the bathroom was dark and dank. On most occasions the food was so-so, and on at least one occasion downright terrible. One really irritating aspect was that there was a charge for all water... more
