My husband and I decided to stay at the Savoy for our 5th wedding anniversary despite the reviews. We were a bit disappointed in the interior of the hotel and the elevators and hallways. They really smelled bad. Dirty and gross in the hallways. Our room however was superb!! The room was like a diamond in a pile of coal!!... more

You will read about how the area is in a crumbling ghetto.Well it isn't Broadway in NYC but it sure aint as bad as Camden,NJ,Bed Sty in Brooklyn,or Newark,NJ.I know I have worked in all three neighborhoods.There is little to fear here.The restaurant is in an industrial zone .Just to make you feel safe there is a security guard who... more
