I work in the hospitality business, so I have a lot of empathy for people that have to deal with travellers. I'm usually very forgiving when reviewing hotels or travel experiences. I was anticipating the worst w/ this hotel...but ya know what? Not half bad. It did what it was supposed to do, gave us a place to sleep. Continental breakfast is small, but we weren't expecting more. Staff was very friendly. We were upgraded to a suite which was quite large. If you want high class, go to Grand Rapids... more

We stayed here the night of July 21st as we were attending a race at a track 3 miles away. Check in was a nightmare - the two women behind the front desk knew little about what they were doing.
