Brandt House has a lasting relaxation effect. The bed was comfortable soft cotton and the location is peaceful. We enjoyed a bright attic room that had a fantastic palladian window looking out at tall pines. Some bedrooms are small but the overall flow of the spacious living room, game room, gracious hallways, and especially refined breakfast/dining room is poetic. Interesting... more

Not your typical B&B because there is room to breathe in this Grand Old Home. Sit by the fire. Play a game of pool. We arrived at the Quality Inn and when we went to our room the chemically smell in the hallway was worse than most hotels and the rug dingy and dirty. When we opened our room it was freezing.
