What a thrill to discover this gem of an AUTHENTIC Indian restaurant right here in central Maine. I've eaten Indian cuisine all over the country for the past 30 years (anyone remember Pondicherry in Boston?) and Mother India rates up there with the best of them. As a "semi-Vegetarian" I appreciate the wide variety of meatless entrees. Their Mattar Paneer... more

Stayed on a weekly basis for about three months. Staff and owner always available and friendly. Quiet and comfortable with all amenities nearby. Enjoy!! more
