This hotel has an indoor atrium-like central hall which is a couple of stories high and lit by natural light through skylights. This is a pleasant surprise, somewhat reminiscent of the French Quarter in New Orleans. Everything is easily accessible. The parking is in front, and in the event it rains, a canopy extends all the way to the parking... more

After reading the review from the CA woman who found ants in her room, I realized I needed to give a review. This is a very nice place, with large rooms. It is very new and the bathrooms are also very large and nicely done. I can't remember the last time I stayed at such a nice place for under... more

This was my first visit to Baton Rouge and needed someplace to stay that would be close to LSU without spending alot of money since I would not be in the room much. The yellow walls were quite bright - not a soothing color. There is a sign on the bed for going green so leave sign on bed if... more

Well the food here is way below average. I ordered the blacken chicken poyboy and it was terrible. The bread it came on was the whole meal! When I finally discovered what was in the middle of all that bread it was a major let down, two little peices of chicken and nasty undercooked mushrooms that actually outnumbered the chicken... more

A year later I returned to the Hilton in Baton Rouge and found that the service and the ambiance is still superb compared with most other Hilton hotels. The old world charm of the exteriors and lobby and the location right on the Mississippi river makes this my favorite Hilton Hotel. If you are a HiltonHHonors Diamond guest I strongly... more

I have stayed at this hotel twice in the last month and both times were terrible. The first time I took my 7 yr. old granddaughter with me and we could not get any sleep because of the noise the unattended kids next door were making. I called the desk 5 times and they never did a thing. The last... more

I love Voodoo. It is the best restaurant ever. Everything I have ever tried is delicious and tastes right out my mom's kitchen. The baked beans are oh sooo good, the macaroni, the bbq chicken, the jerk chicken, the corn pudding. The sauce is spectacular also. I like good cajun food and this is the cajun side of bbq. more

Would not recommend and would not stay again. Upon arrival- customer service is greatly lacking. Room was dirty. Wood work needs washing, toilet stains, furniture in need of repair and burns on the counter. Had planned to spend 2 nights but could not endure it. No swimming pool. more

Baton Rouge is home to a number of good Greek and Lebanese restaurants. Albasha is one of the best, the other is Serop's. The chicken schwarma is terrific. The Greek salad is really good as well. more

The Chimes is almost an institution if you have been a student at LSU. I always take guests here if they are in for a LSU game. The daily specials are superior. I love their house dressing. The gumbo is really good. The selection of beer is incredible and you can "taste" different ones in a shot glass before making... more

I have no idea why I chose this hotel and can promise you that I will never do it again. After a long day of traveling, I finally made it to my room. The room wasn't bad, it was ok for a "Drury Inn"- very motelish. I came to find I was sharing my room with 2 dead ants on... more

We stayed here, because it was my mother's b-day and she wanted to go some where even if it wasn't that far away from home. We chose to stay here, because we had a great experience at Drury Plaza in San Antonio, Tx. (which provided better customer service). When I asked for a blanket the clerk told me that she... more

We came to Baton Rouge for a wedding and were not expecting anything extraordinary in our hotel. Just somewhere to sleep, pretty much. The staff at this hotel is just amazing. Kim at the front desk was efficient, friendly, and helpful. We were traveling with my 8 y/o son and mother in law and booked 2 rooms. While there were no adjoining rooms available, Kim arranged for side-by-side rooms. We were in 2 kings. There's a separate living area, separated by a partial room divider - the decor is nice with... more

I stayed at the Residence Inn (Siegan) on June 26, 2009. I recommend this hotel to everyone. We stayed in the 2 bedroom hotel suite. The rooms were clean and spacious. I stayed at this hotel more recently. I traveled all over the country and never had service like this before. The front desk attendant I remember her exceptionally rude.
