Pool water was very cold. My son got in an immediately got back out. The room was nice, but I did notice a spot on one of the duvet covers. Our third floor room had a creaky floor, so I'm sure the rooms below us heard every step. Breakfast was fine, staff was friendly. more

I have stayed at the Tea Rose Inn many times over the past 8 years and it remains a consistently great experience. WAY too many chemicals. Smell was overwhelming as soon as we entered the room. My nasal passages were burning and i had a sore throat within half an hour. This can't be good for anyone's health. Also, the window cannot be locked and can be openned fully from the outside (and we are on the ground floor). more

Gutch's is the most consistent of the restaurants in Hays. When I visit, and choose to go out, I almost always make a trip there. more
