I was sent to Grinnell, Iowa as part of a group from Central America to attend a seminar at the local college. It was a warm and humid friday evening and we decided to take a walk downtown. Not only was our room beautiful with a well-supplied jacuzzi, there are always freshly baked cookies out in the lobby for hungry travelers, and at times, fruit, too. The breakfast is great. I chose this motel because they offered a discount for people going to the Grinnell Hospital. My son is having stomach bi pass surgery. The person at the desk said she could give us a room with two large beds for $69. I chose it because she further stated they "had a HOT tub and POOL and HOT BREAKFAST." Thinking... more
