Stayed at this hotel for a wedding. The service was amazing. The front desk was so helpful and did anything that anyone attending the wedding needed. There was a large group for the wedding and everyone was so pleased from the free breakfast buffet served every morning to the shuttle that would take you anywhere you needed to go in... more
I stayed at this hotel from Thursday, May 15 through Sunday, May 18. Originally, I had two separate reservations because my plans had changed and I needed to add an extra night. When I called to add the night, the hotel was booked for non-smoking rooms and only had a smoking room available, so I took it. Upon check-in on... more
We are not local people and found Kelly's tavern on TripAdvisor. The reviews looked good so we decided to give it a chance! The Waitress was nice....the food was delicious.....my drink was perfectly mixed....what else is there to say!!! We had appetizers.....chicken strips and mozzerella sticks....both the Best Ever!! You won't be disappointed in this place! more
This hotel was an alright place to stay. The hotel staff was nice. The pool was nice. The hot tub jets did not work but it was still a nice place to sit in. The breakfast was enough of a variety that my family of four could all find something to eat and enjoy it. I would stay again. more
If you love pastries, you have to stop at Underbrink's Bakery in Quincy, Illinois. Everything there is just wonderful. The best cupcakes, danish, and cookies I have had in my life. The coffee is even good. Make sure that you go early. This is a favorite of the locals and is busy all the time. You might have to wait... more

My family of five stayed at the Super 8 while attending the Dogwood Festival. The hotel was clean and comfortable. The continental breakfast was average. We asked for a roll-a-way which was delivered upon our arrival. The staff was very courteous. The hotel is quite a distance from the center of town, but close to restaurants and the interstate. Certainly... more
Our family of 5 visited Quincy during the "Dogwood Festival" and ate dinner at The Pier. The service, food quality and atmosphere were excellent. I particularly appreciated that charges relating to corking and split fees were posted on the menu and even explained! The wine selection (by the glass or bottle) was quite good and very reasonably priced. The crab... more
I came to Quincy to be in a good friend's wedding. The Days Inn is a great choice for people travelling on a budget. It's a small room with older furniture. But not bad for the price. If you can afford to stay somwhere else. If you want to save some money stay here. more
I went into the abbey with two friends on a Friday evening. I understand that it is very busy, but no greeted my group and I. They didn't tell us that we had to go up to a lady that was tucked away in a corner to sign our names. She was not visible and she was not announcing that we... more
Stayed 2 nights in April on business. We had 2 suites which were only $99/night with our corporate rate! Each suite had its own theme, we stayed in the 'Trails End' and 'Clubhouse' The Trails End was set up like an old hunting lodge with pictures of bears, guns, log furniture, a lamp with a shotgun as its base and... more

We had Easter Dinner here, and it totally ruined the highlight of the day!! We spent well over one hundred dollars for pure garbage!! Let's start off by saying we were seated on the third floor and to get to the buffet we had to carry our plates of food up and down a long set of stairs. Elderly people... more
Sat, March 22, around 8 p.m., my son and I were standing in line behind about 4 people. Several female employees in black outfits walked past us but after about 10-12 minutes I finally stopped one and asked, are we supposed to sign our names on a list somewhere? She pointed to a lady who was standing around the corner.... more
The soups and salads are especially wonderful! Occasionally, I'm disappointed in the selection of bagels.....the good ones are gone early in the morning......... more
I try to stay in some of the very old hotels that I can find when on a business trip. This one is old, the hallways look mostly original, the rooms were updated in the '50's, so definitely look dated. The rooms are clean (saw a couple of them), linens were clean and well supplied. The rooms had typical furniture,... more
My husband and I decided to wander for the weekend and wound up spending the night in Quincy. We were driving around town when a wonderful smell got our attention. We pulled over and decided this was the place to eat dinner. The decor is very impressive and we were excited for the possibilities. Unfortunately, we were seated at a... more
After a horrible stay the night before at the Days Inn in Quincy, we were happy to be here. The rooms were clean and had everything that we needed. Although our rooms faced the main street, we didn't hear any of the noise. The only draw back was that the wireless internet was a bit slow. The pool area looked... more
