On the positive side - they've cleaned up (literally) and have made the whole place much more family friendly. The rides are great and there's really something for everyone - from little kids up to serious thrill seekers. However, I still walk away feeling like I did my time (for my kids) and can hopefully avoid having to go back... more

We went for a 2night 3day stay @ key lime and it was actually "ok"- nothing out of this world, very small and not too much for adults/teens. but with small children which we had, i guess i shouldnt complian? - unitll the day we where due to check out (which to my understanding I had till 11am) I come... more

My family of 5 (kids: 6, 4, 9 months) had a fantastic time at the water park at Key Lime Cove Water Park. However, we were very dissapointed with the daily "resort fee" that was never mentioned previously. We are Disney goers, so we are used to jacked-up prices, but at least at Disney they aren't in the fine print!... more

My husband and I took our 21 month old daughter to stay overnight one night at Key Lime Cove on a Tuesday night in June. It was a very spontaneous trip - we found it online on Saturday and booked on Monday - one night before our trip (found a room for $20 - $30 cheaper booking through Expedia instead... more

We went on a Monday and the crowds weren't too bad. Most of the coasters had an hour wait, which would have been terrible for anyone with children. I HIGHLY suggest spending the extra money to get the FAST pass. It worked so well and we never had to wait in line in the heat bored out of our minds!... more

Everything you have heard and fear is true. I'll start with the good. I'm a roller coaster enthusiast. In addition to this park I have been to Cedar Point, Six Flags Great Adventure, Kennywood, Universal Islands of Adventure so I have some experience for comparison. Viper, Batman (the original), and Raging Bull are great coasters. This is my home park... more

Good location for Six flags visit as you can leave your car at the hotel. it is about 1/4 to 1/3 mile to six flag's entrance. We had a nice room on the 4th floor and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast had hot and cold items - a waffle maker could have improved the breakfast. There was an outdoor pool and... more

My family had recently taken out 4th trip to the KeyLime Cove and it will most likely be out last. The first time we went was April 2008 and loved it. We returned 1 month later and enjoyed it just as much as the first. Each time staying 2 nights and easily spending over $1,000 each visit. We returned in... more

We've been Safari Club members since June of 2002, and have visited this location every 3 or 4 months since then. The last few times, the food, and especially the service, has really started to go down hill. Last night, we went there to celebrate our 4-year old's birthday - 6PM on a Wednesday night. The place was only about... more

I stayed here in June of 2008 with a friend of mine for a weekend trip to Six Flags Great America. We chose this hotel because we THOUGHT it would be within walking distance to the park and the price of the room was less than other hotels in the same area. I wish i would have spent the extra... more

I visited Six Flags Great America twice in 2008. The first trip being a "girls weekend" in June and the second was a weekend getaway with some friends for Fright Fest in October. Both times at the park were great!! It was your "normal" amusement park experience - kids running around screaming, people standing in the middle of the walk-ways... more

We stay at La Quintas alot as usually this chain gives you a decent room for a great price. All the hotels in this class seem about the same to me except when you stay at a La Quinta you don't feel like you paid too much. Plus most La Quintas are pet-friendly and that's a big plus when you... more

my family and i stayed here for an overnight trip to Six Flags, and when we first walked in, the place looked nice enough for the price. We checked in and went to Six Flags, and spent the whole day there. We came back tired and just wanted to go to bed. The walls are so thin that you can... more

Ok. ive heard many people on this site saying that Six Flags Great America is stupid and a waste of money. Well what do you expect at a humongous theme park? They have to pay for all the park expenses and etc.!!! That's why they have to make things more expensive! And if you don't wanna spend as much money... more

My husband and our 2 year old twins stayed at key lime cove in January. Insultingly bad, aggressively bland "Italian" food. Inexplicably crowded, and everyone seems to make a big deal over the salad dressing. By my estimation, one part vinegar, two parts cornstarch, three parts sugar, four parts oil, and a sprinkle of some green stuff. more

I visited this hotel during August2008 for a month and I like stay here. Given chance I would surely like to go back to same hotel again. I liked facilities such as Swimming Pool, Restaurants inside Hotel, Food quality is also good, Excellent staff members, and above all location is too good. I would surely recommend this hotel to everyone... more

I do not recommend staying there...the room had a hole in the wall and the fridge was full of beer and old orange juice from the people before us and the shower had shampoo or soap mildew in it. Discusting! The younger men that were at the desk didnt seem too motivated...asked how the room was and asked for trash... more

Key Lime Cove is admittedly a fun place for kids, with some fairly serious customer service issues. We treated my eleven year old daughter and three of her friends to an overnight stay at Key Lime Cove to celebrate her birthday. In all fairness, they had a good time. My biggest complaint is the misleading information on their website. The... more

I stayed over Memorial Day weekend. Although it was crowded, it was a holiday weekend. Duh! We took our 5 and 2 year old. They had a blast. We never had a problem getting rafts. The lifegaurds were on top of making sure the rafts were getting rotated. Our room was very clean and spacious. Overall the whole facility was... more
