Friendly owner and the food was OK, but nothing stellar. I had a chicken burritto which I had to dump a ton of hot sauce on to get any flavor (and I'm not usually big on hot sauce). Basically, it's a bar with an extended dining room. Given that, the locals say it's the best resaurant in town. They do serve nice, large sandwiches and probably the best fries I've had in this type of setting. If in Wallace, check it out. more

My husband, some friends, and myself stayed at the Brooks for two weeks. We had a great time and the staff treated us like family. We are returning in July 2009 for another stay though I'm sorry to say it won't be as long. It has a charming history and has been used in movies. One such movie was Dante's... more
