Ramada Inn Pocatello

We were a family traveling with a dog and that scenario narrows hotel selection a bit. We were tired of driving and saw they took pets. Back in the day it looked to have been a nice hotel but it looked as if no remodels have occurred since. Our room was on the ground floor and we had a sliding... more

My husband and I stayed at the Black Swan Inn for our 10th Anniversary and it was all you can imagine and then some. more

Buddy's Italian Restaurant

Jul 14, 2008

Everyone in Pokey loves this place but here's the reality: the salads are greasy and covered in a Crisco like substance (that to some is addictive). The tomato sauce is pretty much Spaghettio sauce so if you are a big Chef Boyardee fan, you will be pleased. The pizzas are little more than a baby step up from a frozen... more

We stayed in the Romeo and Juliet room and it was fantastic. The latest electronics, comfortable bed, jacuzzi tub for two -- we really enjoyed it. Not really a Bed and Breakfast, though. The breakfast is either a fruit basket in your room or a coupon for the local Perkins restaurant -- somewhat disappointing. more

Red Lion Hotel Pocatello

This was a wonderful place to stay. Close to interstate but room was quite. The room had been newly decorated and we had great night of rest. We thought we had a good special price of $79.95 but other reviews indicate that much better was available on Priceline. In any case we were happy. more

I wanted to surprise my husband with a unique anniversary gift. I have always heard wonderful things about the Black Swan Inn but had never used its services. All I can say is wow! What a wonderful night's stay! We had such an amazing time together and the room was the perfect place to spend it. The little details in... more

My wife & I went to celebrate our 5th year anniversary at the Black Swan Inn in Pocatello, Idaho. The service was top notch. We stayed in the Romeo & Juliet Suite and it was incredible. The atmosphere in the room was amazing among its cleanliness. We loved it so much that we didn't want to leave. We highly recommend.... more

Our family of four stayed here when we couldn't find rooms at Lava Hot Springs. Room was good-sized and the 42 inch plasma television is great! Beds were good, pillows not so great. We had a great view of the Idaho State University campus. Breakfast was the standard Hampton Inn fare, which sufficed our family, but nothing outstanding. Our family... more

Super 8 Motel Pocatello

A lovely hotel. Wonderful staff! Clean rooms. Breakfast was very good...omelets, pastries, English muffins, cereal, oatmeal, juice, coffee...kept well stocked. Walls a little thin...not the fault of the owners. Nice location with several restaurants nearby. more

My family was caravaning from Southern California to Montana and stopped in Pocatello for one night on our way north. My father had found this motel on AAA and got some sort of deal, so it was pre-booked. When we arrived at the motel, the motel manager kindly took my husband and I to our rooms to make sure they... more

I booked my room at the Red Lion for the night following a marathon in Rexburg, as I was flying out of Pocatello the following morning. The hotel was easy to find from the freeway. Check-in was easy, and the clerk gave me a choice of a 1st or 2nd floor room (I opted for 1st floor, given my post-race... more

Rodeway Inn University

This is a clean and comfy budget motel for a quick overnight stay. Everything seemed to be in good shape. The room had a micro, fridge and coffee maker. The room is small and rather cramped, but good enough for an overnight stop. The continental breakfast did not look impressive so we pigged out at Elmers next door. more

Holiday Inn Pocatello

May 30, 2008

I tend to not be a complainer and easy to please and I can't remember the last time I even called down at a front desk for something special. I also travel a lot and have stayed in hotels over 6 states in the last year. So with that in mind... This hotel by far gave absolutely the worst service... more

We went to Buddy's on a trip to Pocatello. It was nice to eat local. The place was packed on a Friday night, the servers were rushed, and it was quite loud. We ordered a salad, a whole salad instead of a half, and it was plenty for four people. We also got a pizza. It was huge and not... more

Sandpiper Restaurant

This place sits in the middle of 5 motels. Its seating stinks for single diners and the bar is noisy. Pocatello in general is one of the weirdest, rednecky unattractive towns in Idaho. Dont know why the middle of this otherwise pretty state is such a loser place. Skip eating at this overpriced eatery until they improve the seating and lower... more

This is a perfectly servicable older (and kind of retro) "full service" Holiday Inn. It is right off the freeway, but our room was on the back side so noise was not a problem. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful during check-in and check-out. The centerpiece of the hotel is the "Holidome," a large atrium with a pool... more

Motel 6 Pocatello - Chubbuck

May 7, 2008

We stayed here while my husband was working in Pocatello. We paid 69.00 a night and a 10.00 fee for our dog. The room was decent. Two full sized beds, sink outside the bathroom. The bathroom had a tub/shower and toilet. There was coffee pot on the sink area. The fan in the room worked well to keep the air... more

We stayed at this hotel as a pass through to somewhere else. We were happy with the clean room and very comfy beds. The location is close to the freeway, but with no freeway noise. We did not get to use any of the amenities like the pool or restaurants. I am quite picky and take great care over picking... more

Remo's

Apr 27, 2008

I have been occasionally going to Remo's since 1956. On a previous visit, we felt that the food was expensive and was not the quality we had previously received on our visits. We thought it was just due to the present Chef that was on duty at the time. We were quite dissatisfied with the quantity that was served. On... more

I recently stayed here on an extended stay while transitioning to a new job. I stayed for 90 days, and was in the same room the entire stay. This has many great features for an extended stay--Range, fridge, microwave, coffee-maker, cabinets, dishes, and basic pots and pans. They'll even leave you microwave popcorn as fast as you can eat it.... more
