One visit won't be enough. The great food is an unmatched value in Boise. House made booze (1st on site Distillery/Pub in the U.S.) provides the extra cash to kitchen say's the manager. Portions are very good. Menu is extensive and easily broken down into apps & satays, entree salads, sandwiches/burgers & lastly entrees. The place is big & casual...no... more

Hand cut organic Idaho potatoes and house made ketchup with a Grass-Fed burger. Paired with the best selection of local beer, I tried Hippy Shake from Highlands Hollow. I love Bittercreek Alehouse, as the years go on they keep getting better. more

One of the biggest plus points for me is that it is not a chain restaurant. When choosing a restaurant I like to find locally owned places instead of run of the mill chain restaurants.
