I agree with a previous reviewer who said it was like staying at a friends' cabin--in disrepair but clean and otherwise okay. I loved that they had kayaks we could use to explore the shallow water off Grassy Key. We borrowed snorkel gear, too, and even saw a few fish and a seahorse cruising through the water. I want to start by saying I do know that seaweed can be a problem at times in the Keys. i just returned from a four night stay over my birthday with my wife. Though I was told they were "booked solid", we noticed a decisive lack of clientel during our visit. At check-in, we were greeted by a less than friendly staff member who assigned us to a 2 bedroom unit just behind the family pool area. Looking for... more
