What a pleasant stay! We expected a nice property after seeing the reviews and the website, but were bowled over once we arrived on site. First, there was the fragrance of flowers throughout the property, including each time we'd open our door. The kitchen is not in the same building as this private venue. Therefore, we experienced very slow service. The food was fine, but we've had better at the Hotel DuPont. The historic setting is lovely, but parking is difficult and walking distance and steps can be challenging for the older set. more
