We have been going to the place for 25 years, despite moves to St. Louis and then to England. Whenever we are home in the summer, we always make time to go. The name is appropriate as the hidden kitchen is tucked away behind the gym and is truely hidden. This is a good thing as the quality of the food is superb and we repeately comeback to enjoy it as well as the really low, low prices. It is the best value on the shoreline if you can find it. This hotel is attractive and clean, well-lit, in a location on the edge of Guilford. It was easy to find, close to beach and the center of town. The staff were friendly and ready to help with luggage. I had a ground floor room with 2 double beds for myself + 3 children (one in a cot). There was plenty... more
