This place doesn't look like much from the outside... don't let that fool you. First ate here 11 years ago and it never disappoints (unless you're late). I couldn't help writing a review after seeing the other glowing review of McDonald's. Those of us who live here know that the building is pretty, but it's usually dirty inside and the staff generally isn't that great. It's pretty much just a McDonald's with a nice new shell on the outside! more

I've been to the Hungry Bear many times. It is an icon in Woodland Park. The food and coffee is consistantly excellent as well as the service. All manner of waffles, pancakes, breakfast burritos with your choice of sauces including their exceptional green chile. Biscuits and gravy, steak and eggs - all delicious and hot. This resort is half RV park and the other half cabins. There are eight cabins I believe. Each is a one bedroom with a couch/bed in the living room. They are well kept and comfortable.
