I skied Copper Mtn. CO in March 2008. We stayed at Copper Junction condos. The condo was very nice and welcoming. It had a great layout with 3 full baths, 2 bedrooms, and a very comfortable pull-out couch. The skiing was fantastic! Copper is such a great mountain, it's very challenging but has areas for beginners too. The restaurants were... more

Since our family had only gone skiing/snowboarding once before (in VA) we did tons of research comparing Copper to Keystone, Breck, Snowbird, Lake Tahoe, Buttermilk and several other resorts. We went during Spring Break. We have 2 sons, ages 10 and 13 who wanted to learn both skiing and snowboarding. We rented a 1 BDRM condo direct from an owner... more

After a long day of skiing and a home cooked meal at the condo my friends and I headed to this cantina for a couple drinks. The bar tender ignored us despite a half empty bar then when he finally acknowledged us we asked about the beers on tap. He responded with barely a grunt and no info on the... more

I first skied at Copper Mountain in 1986. In the last 10 years, I have taken may family there for 5 separate ski weeks. The physical layout of the mountain is very good in that it tends to keep the different levels of skiers separated. The major problem is that there is a bottleneck at the bottom in the central... more

Arrived at Copper Mountain on 3/13/2008, stayed at Copper Junction (two bedroom condo) in the village. GREAT location. Literally 100 feet to the American Eagle lift. The condo was a bit dated but the space was perfect for a party of 6 or more. The Bee-Line Advantage ticket (compliments of the lodging company) was quite a treat. There was never... more

We booked a Telemark Condo Studio Rm. (Silver Status) through Copper Mtn. Ski resort main office. When we arrived there, the room (212) reaked of old fish. Additionally, the toilet would not flush correctly and backed up regularly, once on the floor while I was Sick from altitude sickness. The Kitchen fluoroscent light did not work, the bath water pressure... more

We rented from www.foxpine.com. This was a individual homeowner named Todd. He was very responsive from enquiries all the way through booking and arrival process. The location was idea. Ski-in/out with dining in building and also a hot tub. The unit itself was larger than most units we have stayed at and was in good condition. We liked this unit... more

Can't even believe AMX endorsed this pit. Just got home. My goal is to blog all weekend on how poor it was!!! I booked a "Silver Package" This hotel is a frat house at best. Dated, dirty, noisy, guests getting high out on the balcony, dogs barking and running up and down the halls! I kid you not, Animal House.... more

In April 2007 I made my reservation for a five night stay almost one year later, in late February 2008. I emphasized to the Copper Mountain reservations agent that for me it was most important to have a top of the line apartment, modern, comfortable, up to date. Price was not an issue. The agent suggested the Mill Club condo... more

We were disappointed in the wait time for dinner. Open tables but a shortage of staff to wait tables and cook food. Bartender was not the friendliest employee to customers. Our waitress was kind and attentive but overworked. Food was OK but would not visit the restaurant again. from the Midwest......... more

Our family of three, including a beginner snowboarder, age 10, stayed in center village 6 nights in February. We'd been to Copper before so we knew the ropes, and you just can't beat their ski and ride school- the instructors are absolutely top notch. The classes are small, they give the little ones frequent breaks, and classes for grown-up kids... more

This was our first time to eat here -- we went with another couple on a Monday evening and found they were pretty busy, but we were seated right away. Everyone enjoyed their food and no one left hungry. We ordered chips and salsa for an appetizer (and for our daughter) -- it was a large basket of chips and... more

I spend a week in Copper every year and always eat one meal here (either lunch or dinner buffet). This year it was for lunch and found it wasn't that good. Maybe because it was near the end of the lunch hour or maybe because there wasn't enough people that day, but I should have ordered from the menu instead... more

=Our waiter was friendly and very attentive, almost overly so that we felt very rushed. There were 9 other guests in the place when we were there so I don't know why they were rushing us. =Nice wine by the glass selection. =Very mundane, limited menu. No spark of interest or uniqueness in any of the entrees listed. =Pricey for... more

We have been to Copper Mountain twice now, February 2006 and December 07/January 08. The skiing is great for families, with a wide variety of terrain to challenge everyone. Even for us "green" types, there were more than enough runs to keep us going for several days. The mountain is also pretty spread out, so even busy days don't seem... more

During our Christmas Break we made reservations for a 2hr snowmobile tour. We arrived 12/28/2007 for the 12:30 tour. Upon arrival you are a little surprised by the building and the grounds; however you must remember that you are 10,000ft + in elevation and simple accommodations are to be expected. The staff was well organized and the equipment was adequate.... more

Being stranded in sub zero weather for almost a week, us Texans were longing for some good Mexican food to warm us up.
