This place is so very special. The owner, whom we met, has decorated this like a lovely private home. Nothing was amiss. The breakfasts and afternoon "snacks" were delicious. Service was fantastic. My wife and I stayed here for one night in early January. Beautiful property ... it was a great end to a weeklong getaway. We checked in fairly late, but were able to partake in the evening dessert hour. Our room had a fireplace, jacuzzi, and what would have been a nice view of the ocean if it weren't foggy... more

I always enjoy eating here at the Summerland Beach Cafe whenever I get the chance. I enjoy the food from breakfast, to tacos and burgers. Easy access off the 101 freeway located in a converted old house. Outdoor seating is terrific especially since the sun shines a lot here! I've never been disappointed with the food and it's all priced... more
