My husband and I stayed here for a weekend for our anniversary. We were in a deluxe ocean view room in the new building and it was simply amazing. The decor was gorgeous and the massive balcony had a nice view of the ocean. The bathroom was huge and it came with copious toiletries. The staff was nice and gave... more

The Sustainable Vine Wine tour was absolutely fabulous. My fiance and I were picked up at our hotel by Brian and immediately set off to the Santa Rita Hills region via Santa Ynez Valley. Brian picked us up right on time in his biodiesel burning Mercedes van. There was only one other couple on the trip. They were much more... more

The place was very quaint and charming and had great personality. Our host, Eilene, was so friendly and really made my husband and I,as well as our 2 little dogs feel so welcome. The fact that she was so friendly and welcoming of our dogs was important to us because not many places are that welcoming of dogs. She is also... more

Us 5 girls went for a bachelorette party! We had a great time with a great tour guide who beat bopped to Britany Spears with us =) He incredibly, was able to pull out a Griffin cord for my iPod. Love the 2 souvenir wine glasses we got from the wine tasting tour. Word of advice for kayakers, make sure... more

We enjoyed some really great seafood here, with a really great view over the harbour. And very reasonably priced. We had a bit of a wait, but didn't even have time to finish our beer in the bar downstairs before our pager went off. The fresh clams were good, the clam chowder fantastic and our fish excellently cooked. more

We travelled from Canada to Santa Barbara with our 18 month old daughter for a week long holiday. First off, the staff at Brisas Del Mar are wonderful. The room was kept clean, and the front dest staff were very friendly and helpful with suggestions for sightseeing and restaurants. Secondly, we loved (loved loved!) the convenience of the wonderful continental... more

what is everyone talking about here??? High prices for so-so food at best. They charge for chips, wouldn't even give us napkins before the food came, then brought 2 for 3 people. Mediocre relleno, even the beans and rice are below average. Our entrees were decent, but I doubt my "8oz" steak in the campestre was anywhere near that before... more

The Presidio Motel is so different from most of the dreary motel world. I've never opened the door to a motel room and laughed with delight before. The fanciful designs on the wall and the wonderful mobile overhead were so much fun. The decor is minimalist but fresh and very clean...all the basic stuff is there. Bed and linens were... more

My husband and I have been staying at the Beach house Inn for 8 winters (1/15-4/15 each year). It is our home away from home for several reasons. The manager is not only professional, attentive and accommodating, but she (and her husband) are friendly and treat us more like acquaintances than hotel guests. Our accommodation is newly redecorated, comfortable, spacious... more

when we arrive, check in is really fast, the clerk is very nice to show us the map around the city and also some info.that we need. The room is clean and very quiet, and look just like what I see from hotel's website. I really have no idea how the bad reviews come from. It's very happy experience to stay... more

This has got to be the worst hostel I've stayed in (and I've been to plenty). The location is literally right next door to the Amtrak station, so be prepared for a 3am wakeup call when the trains go by. They put cheap kids metal bunkbeds in the dorms, which to my knowledge are NOT meant for adult weight capacity... more

I love this place and have for years! Every time I visit SB I have to go here. The best dish is the Bellagio! They also have the best tomato bisque. A close second would be their chicken parmesan or the prosciutto wrapped shrimp. But the Bellagio is a must! They also have a great brownie with espresso gelato. YUM!... more

Our second trip to Cheshire Cat - this time with the kids. We had a cottage across the street from the main house which was very roomy, clean and pretty reasonably priced. Had a hot tub in the backyard which we didn't get to use. Nice location, close to the downtown area off State Street. The staff were helpful and... more

Inn is located nicely a few blocks away from the sea. Close by there is 7/11 and a supermarket. The building is a bit old as well as the decoration of the rooms. It can be noisy, not from outside but from inside. Parking included, no wifi, standard breakfast. more

We arrived here after a long drive from Las Vegas and were delighted with the hotel and the location. We had an Ocean View Room (Room 219). The motel is nicely maintained, the room was pleasantly decorated with new furniture, and it was a good value for the money. The property has two pools. The only downside is that it is 15 minutes from downtown Santa Barbara and the beach, but this was not a big problem for us because we had a car. It has a... more

Very friendly and helpful staff. Location good for seeing sights and going to the town. On sight free parking, no breakfast but there is a restaurant right there. Has the appearence of an older Best Western but the rooms are very good. There are two pools outside and this is where the ice machines are located. We found the last... more

Yes, I got the mid-week rate of around 70 bucks for one of our nights, and what a value. Two swimming pools, one spa that were well-maintained and clean. Had a great time in the spa over two days, as well as the pool. Breakfast was enough to get you going (cereal, fruit, yogurt, etc). Checkin was quick and I... more

Stayed for a few days and was satisfied on all counts. Checkin was a little rough, with the handyman behind the desk telling me it was his first day and the computer had crashed.
